How I Use AI To Find An Edge

People hear "AI picks" and assume a black box printing money. It isn't that, and anyone telling you it is has something to sell you.

What it actually does is compress research. Matchup splits, injury context, line movement, umpire and park factors, travel and rest — all things I could look up manually, in a fraction of the time. It lets me look at every game instead of the four I had time for.

What it's good at

Finding candidates. Flagging where a number looks off relative to the inputs. Killing my own bias when I want to bet a team for dumb reasons.

What it's bad at

Judgment. It doesn't know a lineup got scratched twenty minutes ago, or that a number moved because of money it can't see. Final call is always mine.

Historically it's had me around 60% — self-reported, historical, and no guarantee. Tracking is linked on my X profile if you want to check the work.
